+ Why Choose NuView Weddings Videography?
Why should we choose NuView Weddings Videography?
- We believe in creating a film that is custom to you! Your wedding film is to be viewed as a strong narrative love film that showcases your commencement of marriage. It's a time capsule of old friends and life long loved ones celebrating your love! A NuView Weddings film is more than just a wedding video. It's a once in a lifetime moment preserved forever that you will be able to show future generations!
As filmmakers, we truly care about how amazing your film turns out because it's a testament to our work and we take great pride in our work!
The first wedding film we produced was for one of our founders, Michael. Being that Michael is like family, it was super important that the film was absolutely perfect. It was filmed with perfection and edited with passion and to this day we continue to approach each wedding film as if it were still one of our own.
We’re always looking to top our best work! Meaning every film should be better than our last! * We are super approachable, supper friendly, and make booking super simple for you! (You have enough to worry about...)
Our cinematographers are educated professionals, with more than 10 years of experience. Our editors have studied post-production and sound at The Institute of Audio Research.
Our team always works together and are truly masters of their crafts - our cinematographer’s have a system. They are reliable. They are consistent, and they always have each others backs when working together.
Our wedding videographers are not intrusive - you won’t even know we’re there.

What Makes NuView Weddings Unique?
You get that "Hollywood look" - Your wedding film will be shot cinematically with ‘that Hollywood look’ along with a strong narrative. We focus on your personalities as much as possible to ensure your wedding film is truly unique
We focus on both romance AND the celebration. This is your wedding and you’re going to want to look back and see how much fun all your loved ones had, therefore we aim for a Disney like fairytale mixed with the energy of a David Guetta concert.
The cameras we will shoot your wedding with allow us to capture deeper colors, higher image detail and a wider dynamic range between the brightest highlights and deepest shadows. It's the reason why feature films look so amazing and now you can get the same high end production values for your wedding film.
Our team is made up of Long Island natives who love love and have always had a passion for filmmaking. We don’t shoot wedding videos, we produce wedding films.
Our entire team is educated. We have studied sound, pre-production, production, and post-production. We’re not your average wedding videography company!
When our Lead Cinematographer is not shooting weddings with us, he works on real film sets with real actors producing real films. He’s also interviewed legends Michael B. Jordan, Samuel L. Jackson, and George Lucas.
Our goal is to produce wedding films that are always better than our last!
We created the Looking Back Films. A Film that tells your love story through your eyes.

+ Can We Add a Drone?
- Absolutely! You can add a drone to any package based on date availability. Aerial shots are a great way to begin building on the narrative.
+ How do you record audio? Will we have microphones?
- We record audio in various ways throughout your day! During your ceremony we will record audio on our cameras and place wireless lavalier microphones throughout your venue, on one of you and/or on the officiant to ensure crisp, clear vow recordings. Our sound recorders are for recording purposes only and do not amplify sound out to your guests.
For your reception, we work in conjunction with your DJ or band to secure a feed from their microphones and place backup microphones whenever necessary.
+ Will your team work well with our photographer?
- We’ll work as a team with the photographer you have selected for your wedding day. We let your photographer take the lead because often there will be shots you’ve pre-arranged with them and we don’t want to get in the way of that. We’re all about communication, positive attitudes and working in concert with each other so that all of your memories are perfectly captured!
+ Is A Wedding Videographer Worth It?
100%! A videographer is an investment every couple should make!
- “You may think that having both wedding photos and a video are overkill, or may not want to prioritize videography in your budget, but trust us—you'll want to hire a wedding videographer. For one, the day literally flies by and there are things you'll miss that your videographers will capture beautifully, like seeing your grandmother's emotional reaction as you say your vows. Also, you have to think of the sounds that can't be captured in a photo, like your "I dos," the reception music and meaningful toasts.” - The Knot
- “Wedding video coverage allows you to see some of the stuff you missed. Maybe you skipped cocktail hour because you were off taking sunset portraits, or maybe you wanted to see the look on your spouse's face when they opened your wedding gift while getting ready. Video coverage could allow you to see some of these moments for yourself.” -Martha Stewart
- “Video coverage means you'll get to relive some of your favorite wedding moments, whether it's the vows you exchanged, your dad's speech, or the first look. And the best part is you'll be able to share these moments with your friends and family again and again. Maybe you'll even show the video to your kids someday. Plus, you'll watch it more often than you think you would-it's a great way to mark anniversaries.” -Martha Stewart
- “There are some things that even the best photography just can't capture. Video picks up that slack by recording movement-say, your coordinated first dance or the kids walking down the aisle-and sounds, like your best friend giving her wedding toast. It also captures the mannerisms and personalities of the people you love.” -Martha Stewart
+ Why Should I Hire A Two-Person Team?
- Your coverage will be more comprehensive and your video will have more dimension in that it’ll be shot from an additional perspective. This is great for angle changes for important moments, such as the ceremony, speeches, or formal dance—moments where the focus is on the couple. And because the assistant’s primary role is to shoot b-roll, that also provides a greater opportunity to catch those great reaction shots from the guests.
+ Who Will Edit Our Wedding Video?
- All footage we film is edited in-house by our incredible award winning editing team 💪.
+ Do You Film Destination Weddings?
- Definitely! While we’re based in Long Island, New York, we’re available for destination weddings worldwide. If your wedding is over 50 miles outside the New York City metropolitan area, we’re happy to come to your city for an additional fee to cover the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations.
+ How Far in Advance Should We Book You For Our Wedding
- Once you know your wedding date, we recommend reaching out as soon as possible about our availability. We film a limited number of weddings every year to ensure our couples receive the highest quality service, so our calendar typically fills up months in advance.
